WAID FOUNDATION is legally registered and officially known as WINGS AID FOUNDATION, based in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, India – 533005. The organization operates under the public identity of WAID FOUNDATION, continuing its mission of rural development, health awareness, environmental sustainability, education, and community empowerment across underserved regions.

WAID FOUNDATION is a grassroots development organization committed to health, environment, education, and rural livelihood empowerment with a strong foundation built on real field experience and community service.

📖 Our Roots & Founder Journey

The foundation of this work goes back to 2007, when Chakravarthi JK began his journey of service, working closely with rural communities and focusing on practical support for farmers, needy families, and underserved villages.

Starting from simple, ground-level efforts across East Godavari and nearby regions, his work gradually grew into a consistent mission of supporting people through agricultural guidance, livelihood assistance, and community development—laying the foundation for a deeper, long-term commitment to rural empowerment.

This early spirit of service was first organized as United Rays of Hope Mission (UROH Mission), which later evolved into a more structured initiative known as WAID FOUNDATION, continuing the same core values of compassion, dignity, and sustainable rural development.

Originally associated with Corporation Bank Professional, he came from a humble background, with roots connected to villages including Vetlapalem and Mallam in East Godavari district, later settling in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh (533005).

🌾 Early Community Work

Before formal NGO formation, he began working directly with:

  • Farmers in rural villages such as Mallam, Vetlapalem, P. Rayavaram, S. Timmapuram, Tuni, and surrounding regions of Visakhapatnam district
  • Small and marginal farmers facing agricultural and financial challenges
  • Poor and needy families requiring support, guidance, and livelihood assistance

His work focused on practical, ground-level help, especially in farming, agriculture awareness, and rural support systems.

🤝 A Quiet Service Philosophy

A key part of this journey was his approach:

  • No formal publicity
  • No organizational branding in the early stage
  • Focus on direct help to people
  • Service done quietly, without seeking recognition

This built strong trust among rural communities over time.

🔄 From Mission to Foundation

To continue and expand this long-standing spirit of service, the initiative was first formed as:

Later, as activities expanded and became more structured, it evolved into:

This transition helped transform individual efforts into a structured, scalable, and sustainable development organization.
